Invisalign and Ulab

Invisalign

Dr. Larkin offers Invisalign as an alternative to braces. Invisalign offers a unique and discreet treatment experience with virtually undetectable aligners. We use 3-D scanning technology to scan and design a custom treatment plan for you using clear aligners.

Invisalign is not only invisible, it is also removable! These aligners can be a more convenient treatment option for some patients and typically, Invisalign patients have less frequent appointments and shorter treatment time. Invisalign is offered for all ages and can fit any lifestyle. Thanks to Invisalign, you can also confidently smile throughout treatment!

Ulab (in house aligners)

Dr. Larkin also offers his own in house aligners called Ulab. This program is similar to Invisalign, but allows Dr. Larkin to make adjustments to your teeth in a computer program right in front of your eyes. After he makes all the necessary adjustments, we fabricate the aligners in house, giving patients a quicker turn around time.

Ulab aligners are another invisible and convenient treatment option for patients of all ages; depending on your treatment plan, it may be more cost effective too! Ulab offers a more personalized experience when it comes to orthodontics. Dr. Larkin can manipulate the teeth on the program with you if you have any specific areas you want to treat.

Q: Do aligners effectively straighten the teeth like braces?

The short answer is yes. Clinical research has proven Invisalign to be an effective treatment option, however, there is some room for error. For clear aligners to be most effective, patients must wear them 22 hours a day. These aligners, just like traditional braces, apply controlled force to the teeth to straighten then, and that force is needed 22 hours a day to achieve your desired results.

Q: How much does Invisalign cost?

Just like any other type of orthodontic treatment, cost depends on the complexity of a patient’s case. Generally, aligner treatments are slightly more expensive than traditional braces. You can schedule your complimentary consultation to find out what your treatment plan would entail!

Q: How many aligners will I have?

The number of aligners is again dependent on the complexity of treatment. We offer 3 different case options: express, moderate and comprehensive and Dr. Larkin will pick which one best suits you. Express cases are usually for people who need minor adjustment and can expect 5-10 aligners. Moderate cases usually consist of 14-20 aligners and comprehensive would be anything above that.
